Android Developer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and build application for iOS platforms
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
• Responsible for working on iOS frameworks, Xcode, Swift, Rxswift, Xcode SDK Platform tools
• Responsible to work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

DevDarshan is a devotional platform launched by IIT graduates to promote the teachings of Indian culture and the Hindu way of life in India around the world. In the 21st century, where everything around is digitized then why not temples. That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us. Right now we are looking to grow our team and build new exciting features for devotees all around the world.

Requirement:

• Solid understanding and Proven working experience of Flutter, Dart, Flutter UI, and animations.
• Extraordinary sense of architecture, design, and writing clean code using reusable components
• Should have experience working with native technologies like Android, iOS
• Experienced in working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Should have published one or more mobile apps in Google Play or App Store
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code that you are proud of

The Role

This role is a senior developer role which will naturally progress into a Mobile App Team Lead role.

The ideal candidate will need to have complete ownership over the development aspect of the mobile app.

Required Skills:

1. Strong hands-on knowledge of Ionic Framework, AngularJS, and Cordova plugins to build great mobile applications
2. The candidate will have an opportunity to grow his/her technical abilities by taking on challenging projects.
3. Very Good analytical, reasoning and logical skill.
4. Good hands-on exposure to JavaScript
5. In-depth understanding of HTML5, HTML4, CSS3 frameworks
6. Have very good debugging skills.
7. Understanding of responsive design principles
8. Able to create applications independently.

Must have skills:

HTMl5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular JS

Ionic Framework (version 4 to 6)

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 3 years Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience with Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Roles, Responsibilities and Experience:

• Cross-platform mobile app developer who has developed mobile applications and has strong experience with Ionic and Angular 7+.
• Experienced in the development and management of mobile applications, particularly hybrids (Android / iOS)
• Comprehensive experience in mobile application architecture planning
• Well qualified in mobile application design and optimization. The ideal candidate will be able to provide solutions to improve mobile app quality, understand emerging technologies, implement standards and best practices thereby able to enhance the existing stage of development and bring the mobile application, from a product standpoint, 'to the next level'
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies as well as frameworks so as to maximize ongoing development efficiencies
• Accurately estimate development timelines and deliver per set schedule
• Solid knowledge of mobile app development practices, along with mobile testing tools and techniques
• Expertise in optimizing the mobile apps' performance
• Experienced in using Agile principles and methodologies
• A deep understanding of the mobile landscape and user behavior patterns is mandatory

Required Skills:

• Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) using JSON.
• Knowledge of NodeJS and MongoDB will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and Multi-threading concepts
• Good knowledge of the SQLite database and the Google Play Services like Push Notifications
• Strong mobile UI design (multi-screen resolutions), coding, support and maintenance
• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and the third-party API (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.) will be added advantage
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Proficient iOS and Android mobile app experience are a plus
